I noticed this morning when logging in my Google AdSense account today that I was immediately prompted to update my AdSense login to a Google Account.

Soon, they will require all AdSense publishers to update their logins to a Google Account. Just follow the wizard to convert your account. An email to confirm the changes will be sent to both your old and new email accounts (BCCs).

The problem is, you cannot use the same Google Account that you use to login to your AdWords account or another AdSense account. For me, that defeats the entire purpose of having single sign-on feature across all Google’s products.

You can also skip the wizard for now and take the steps the next time you login.
