Google AdSense Ads on YPN

AdSense ads on YPNJenstar has discovered an ad for Google AdSense while viewing her blog.

May be soon Yahoo Publisher Network ads will appear on Google AdSense too. Is Google trying to convert YPN publishers? Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find the ads when viewing the same page. As a third party, I sure can click on the ads and find out how Google manage to carry out the campaign.

Did it have a unique landing page as opposed to default AdSense homepage, demo page, etc.? What did it say on the page? While I doubt Google carried out very specific campaign in Yahoo!, but it’s nice to know anyway. May be Google just want to find out how big YPN market is right now, with the impressions it gets from the content network and the quality of clicks/ leads?

Spying a competitor from a consumer point of view can help big time.

It’s everyone guess.

Rogerd, I can’t find any contact information so I’ll just post here. Hope you’ll see this.

I tried to post comments on your blog but seems like your blog only allows registered users to comment. The problem is, I can’t find a registration form on your blog..

Anyway, like I said it’s everyone’s guess, but interesting ones over there. Thanks.

How much of Google does Yahoo own? Enough to make it worthwhile letting them advertise.

Yahoo & MSN (among others) have long advertised with Google AdWords. Seems this is fun for those in the industry, but really doesn’t mean much outside of it.
